SOAP Introduction :
- SOAP से तात्पर्य सिंपल ऑब्जेक्ट एक्सेस प्रोटोकॉल (Simple Object Access Protocol) से है।
- यह XML पर आधारित messaging protocol है।
- जिसका मुख्य उपयोग कंप्यूटरों के बीच सूचनाओं के आदान-प्रदान के लिए किया जाता है |
- SOAP XML specification की एक application है।
- जिसे वर्ष 1998 में SOAP प्रोटोकॉल को Dave winer,Don Box और उनकी टीम के द्वारा माइक्रोसॉफ्ट के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया था।
- सोप (SOAP) एक communication protocol है जिसे इंटरनेट के माध्यम से communication करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है।
- SOAP XML messaging के लिए HTTP को विस्तारित कर सकता है।
- सोप (SOAP) Web services के लिए डेटा transport करता है।
- SOAP के माध्यम से documents को exchange किया जा सकता है साथ ही यह remote procedure को भी कॉल कर सकता है।
- सोप (SOAP) के माध्यम से किसी भी message की broadcasting की जा सकता है।
- SOAP platform और language-independent है|
- SOAP के द्वारा ही यह निर्धारित किया जाता है कि XML में कौन सी और कैसे information भेजी जाएगी।
- सोप (SOAP) अलग अलग ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम(operating system) पर चलने वाली application , अलग अलग technologies और programming languages के साथ communication करने का तरीका प्रदान करता है।
